The Council on At-Risk Youth (CARY) will host a training session with international bestselling author and educator Barbara Coloroso on Wednesday, October 20, at the Hilton Austin Hotel, 500 E. 4th St., from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Sponsored by the Dell Children's Medical Center, the Council on At-Risk Youth and the Hilton Austin, the training is for parents, educators, social workers, counselors and anyone else who wants to make a difference in kids' lives. There will be a book-signing following the luncheon. Coloroso is the author of four international bestsellers: kids are worth it! Proceeds will benefit CARY’s Aggression Replacement Training offered to middle school students referred for bullying or fighting. Participants will qualify for CEU's.

CARY is a 501-(c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to help youth promote safe schools and safe communities.
