April 18 – 24, 2010, will be “CARY’s Youth Violence Prevention Week”
Support CARY’s effort to prevent youth violence in our community by joining us on Thursday, April 22, at 5:00 p.m. in Austin City Council Chambers. Executive Director Adrian L. Moore will accept a Mayor’s Proclamation declaring CARY’s Youth Violence Prevention Week as April 18-24.
April 20th will be the 11th anniversary of the Columbine High School tragedy. CARY is a non-profit organization founded out of concern for violence in our schools and community. Make a donation in memory of a loved one or to give to CARY’s violence prevention programs in five AISD schools and the Alternative Learning Center.
